Hi,
My phone has very limited internal storage, but Opera Mini is using 24.72MB. The app itself is only 3.20MB, but data is using 21.53MB.
Why does it need to use so much space?

Because it needs to store data? 🙂

That may be the case, but the browser used to have a much smaller footprint - ideal for lower spec devices. I've used it for a long time on various phones, and it has never used so much storage as it does now.
