BTW, using Appboy could be illegal in UK and other countries due to some privacy concerns. In Opera Mini this tracker is even more "exclusive". If you ask furthermore Opera will throw the TOS coin which in my book may have 2 faces.

I always thought mini used Presto's own technology for that excuisively, is this built on top of it?

Opera Mini is basically two browsers baked into one. There is one mode for extreme data saving, and one mode for high speed and data savings.
