This release includes several new features and improvements.

Enable Opera's ad blocker to banish ads to save even more data with Opera! Just go to Settings, open Data Savings and enable ad blocking. There is a known issue which will be fixed in the next beta - you need to restart Opera for ad blocking to take effect.

Another major feature we introduce in 37 is website settings. From now on, you can control access for geolocation, camera and microphone for each site individually and change it whenever you need it. We are planning to include even more settings that you will be able to tune for each site.

Opera now supports multi-window mode! On all phones with this feature, you can now use Opera in that mode.

And some minor improvements: the Speed Dials icons are rendered on the Opera side, so no more ugly thumbnails. It fetches the best icon from the site and if there isn't one, Opera will generate it!

Another minor feature: if you want to save a file and you don't have enough space for that, a friendly dialog will be displayed.

The update is available on Google Play! We hope you will like the new changes and are looking forward to your feedback!

I have been using Opera Mobile Beta since I got my smartphone 18 months back and it has always been great.

But the replacement of the Snapshot of the webpages in Speed Dial by gaudy, unintuitive and to be perfectly honest totally rubbish icons has got me to comment.

When most of the Icons are just a capital 'A' with the occasional 'C' is bad enough to try and work out what icon is what.

Add to that the and I choose my words carefully 'The Colour Scheme'.

Who thought it was a 'good idea' to make them all appeal to a 2 year old child or an over romantic lady. Pinks, Pale Green, Oranges, Teal Blue.

Apart from the colour NOT reflecting the Website they now represent. If I had wanted a cheap copy of the Windows 8 abomination on my Smartphone I would NOT be using Opera. (Note: the fact Windows 8 FAILED because of its ICONS should have given you a clue)

Please include a method for getting back to a snapshot of the website or at the VERY WORST allow the user to pick the least abominable colour for the icons!

One other comment.

Did not know you had added the AdBlocker until I came to leave the above complaint. You hid it well!

We heard your concerns about the generated SD icons. There are still issues to address, but we've made some significant improvements which we hope will help make it easier to distinguish between SD.

In this update we are also introducing support for web push notifications. This is a new standard that allows web pages to send notifications to your device (with your permission of course!), even while the browser isn't running. We are really excited about this feature, as this brings web apps even closer to the capabilities native apps have.

Lastly, we managed to squeeze in some minor bug fixes to make the experience a bit better.

The update has been pushed to Google Play and is available right now. We hope you like it!
