<![CDATA[Opera Mini 16 beta 2 for Android]]>Hi!

Now, it’s time for another beta.

In this version, we’ve included an option to block ads. If you want to enable the feature, you can do that in the settings under “Savings mode”. This is an experimental feature, so your feedback will help us make the feature better.

Another new addition is a new page-loading animations feature. As you go to a new URL, its page thumbnail or address will pulsate in the webpage area while loading the page.

Lastly, there is a new item in the "+" menu in the address bar. Now you can choose "Add to home screen" to make your favorite page's shortcut on your phone's home screen.

@thore90, do you go to google.com and enter a search phrase on the page? If so you want to try entering search phrase directly in the address bar in Opera Mini. When you write something that does not look like an URL address, then it is queried in Google.

@mbaluta, I do both. For the 'first search' I type the phrases in the address bar and everything works fine.
But when I enter a new phrase to search for directly in Google it doesn't work properly. Sometimes I can start that search via my keyboard and 5 sec later I have to click that magnifier in order to start searching.
Is it possible that this 'error' is caused by my phone?

Just tip the plus button next to the opened tab and hold it until the drop down list appears. Then you can choose 'New private tab'.
Once your in the private tabs you can open further tabs by 'normal' (short) clicking that plus button.

Nope, you would have to switch to private tabs everytime.

i really like the Opera Mini Browser, you did a good job. But I have some wishes to make the browser more likely to me.
