<![CDATA[Flash failing on some sites]]>Recently, I've been encountering more and more pages where what appears to be Flash video returns an error in Opera, but not Chrome. Here is the latest instance (sorry for the content):

I've updated Flash. The latest version shows in opera:/plugins. I don't know what else to try. I intially blamed the problem on the Vista still running on this old notebook, but again the failing implementations usually work fine on Chrome. Any ideas?

Version: 36.0.2130.32 - Opera is up to date
Update stream: Stable
System: Windows Vista 32-bit running

The video loads fine for me in Chrome, davehawley. Most of the ones where I get an error do load in Chrome.

The direct link returned Failure: 400 Bad Request. I don't use an ad blocker.

I feel as if it is some setting in O, but who knows. 🙂

If so, it might be your ad blocker that is causing the problem.

Opera 36 won't show the video, Chrome 49 won't show the page at all, Vivaldi says the video cannot be displayed, Firefox 45 crashes, Internet Explorer 8 is rejected by the site.
Great browser compatibility by the site owners there, but I bet it works fine in Edge on Windows 10, which is of course all that matters now!
