<ol>
<li>
<p dir="auto">go to <code>opera://flags/#news-on-startpage</code>, and select "Disabled" from the drop-down,</p>
</li>
<li>
<p dir="auto">go to <code>opera://flags/#start-page-config</code>, and select "Disabled from the drop-down,</p>
</li>
<li>
<p dir="auto">click the "Relaunch Now" button.</p>
</li>
</ol>

But its better than nothing...<br />
Maybe a plugin or something can do this, sdk or something have connection to speed dial database?</p>

<p dir="auto">May not be the best option but you can use the address bar to search for speed dials.</p>
