<p dir="auto">this way you can have clean install and separate profile folders (in standalone install, profile folder is in installation folder where you installed Opera)<br />
otherwise, x64 and x86 builds share profile folder<br />
on windows, without changing anything, that is <strong>C:\Users\USER_NAME\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software</strong></p>

Yielding my current default browser : 37.0.2163.0, The Grey "O"  !!!  Running it on both my computer and my wife's....</p>
