<![CDATA[Open Speed Dial entries in new tab in foreground with single left click.]]>(Apologies if this was asked before, but the Search function in Opera leaves a bit to be desired.)

I start Opera with the Speed Dial page.

Many times, I forget and left click an entry which opens the entry in the same tab. (thereby losing the Speed Dial page.)
A right click only allows Edit or Trash. (Presently I use mouse gesture Right-click, Down).

If the left click option is not possible, what is a one-button solution to then display the Speed Dial page?

I tried the Chrome Home Page extensions and could not get them to work.

I'm sure I'm overlooking something very simple, but what is it?

I can forgo that. What is the default for middle click?
