<![CDATA["This browser does not support video playback"]]>I have a very annoying problem.
Everytime I want to watch a video/gif on Twitter using Opera, it does not play and instead says "This browser does not support video playback", although I have the latest Flash Player and Opera version.

It does work in other browsers.

The solution that adds h.264 support didn't work for me in linux.

This is the Windows forum. You may have better luck in the *nix one.

Twitter uses h.264 encoded video, you need to install some extra packages. Adding H.264 video support to Opera for Linux

This solution is for Linux, not for Windows.

Btw, Twitter doesn't use Flash to play videos afaik.
