<p dir="auto">I was always happy with Opera, until recently I tried this website <a href="http://counter-strike.net/reintroducing_nuke" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc">http://counter-strike.net/reintroducing_nuke</a> (I know it's a very specific example, but even in the Steam in-game browser it is smooth!). On the screenshots you can move a bar to see before and after. And that should be butter smooth, but it's not at all. Also on some Imgur image albums I cannot scroll smoothly. Why is that?</p>
<p dir="auto">I had 2000 (also how can I count tabs? That is an estimate, but it was far over 1K) tabs open yesterday, but I closed all of them and started a new window, to see if it would help, but the problem remained.</p>

Its called smooth scrolling.<br />
