<![CDATA[Is Opera Bypassing Disabled Disabled Update Checkers?]]>Was checking my Opera setup and noticed that my version had been updated even though I had disabled update checking since Opera 34.

I double checked my "About Opera" page

Version: 35.0.2066.37 - Update checker is disabled

I think I did decide to update from Opera 34, but I don't think that I did as recently as the date for this version (2/2/2016).

I noticed this because Opera displayed a new version notification on an Opera Forums page I was reading.

The new current version is 35.0.2066.68. Posting this for future reference to verify if Opera is somehow circumventing update checker preferences.
