<![CDATA[h264 video playback fails on Opera 34.0.2036.50]]>For some reason HTML5 video playback for h264 files stopped working this week. It was working fine before that.

apt-cache policy chromium-codecs-ffmpeg-extra
chromium-codecs-ffmpeg-extra:
  Installed: 48.0.2564.82-0ubuntu0.14.04.1.1108
  Candidate: 48.0.2564.82-0ubuntu0.14.04.1.1108

When I copy the ffmpeg lib manually to the opera lib folder, the pages containing the videos crash.

Any help would be appreciated.

You can wait for Opera to update (should be soon) or, as a workaround, downgrade chromium-codecs-ffmpeg-extra to Chromium 47.
