<![CDATA[Sound for new emails stopped working !]]>The sound in my opera email for new notifications suddenly stopped.
Nothing changed... my system sound works, just opera stopped.
Also in the tab when I try the test, that too does not work...

And yes, I do have a sound chosen for the notifications and yes that file is still good and works outside of Opera Email.

If that doesn't help, close down Opera and rename operaprefs.ini (not operaprefs_default.ini).

If that doesn't help, check accounts.ini to make sure the sound setting and media file setting are really correct and match the UI.

Besides that, not sure. This problem just pops up for some users sometimes with no explanation as to why.
