<![CDATA[Hotmail-Outlook Settings Needed]]>Hi Everyone,
I am a brand new User of Opera Email Client for Windows, as a result of Microsoft having changed things to an even more unworkable configuration than before.

I like the look of Opera, but try as I might, I cannot get it to access my Hotmail-Outlook account.

I have tried all the IMAP and POP settings which I thought would have worked, but to no avail.

I would be grateful if someone could assist me in this please.

Many thanks for the info on Opera Mail.

If it is no longer being developed, then there is little point in my changing to it.

All I was trying to do was get away from a reliance on Microsoft products, particularly Outlook as they (Microsoft) appear determined to ruin it with constant changes etc.

It's also an unfinished product (if you want the finished product, you'd need to use the version built into Opera 12.17).

If you still want to use it, see https://forums.opera.com/post/87894 for the outlook server settings for IMAP. Your username is your email address. If it's at @hotmail.com or @live.com for example, use that and not @outlook.com.
