One single entry has been imported out of dozens.
The old installation ist still there and the notes.adr file in place.
My normal experience on other PC was, that the new installation made an html export of opera notes without further notice on the desktop. Don't know why it didn't work out here...

Now I've either got to find some software that I can import it into or convert it to a .txt file and manually copy and paste each individual note! Suggestions anyone?

Was the fate of the titular ship in the movie Titanic also an unexpected turn of events?

The Opera team sent emails out to the address you registered Link with saying the service was going away ages ago. It was announced on the news pages too of course. Its been common knowledge on the forums even longer than that. It stopped being used by Opera with the last version of 12, which was surpassed by version 15 almost 3 years ago. Saying it was unexpected is stretching the meaning of the word to its breaking point.

If you still have Opera 12 installed on your system it should be in its profile directory. Even if you uninstalled Opera it might still be there. Since Opera 15 and up don't replace Opera 12, they just install in a different location, the only way it could be gone is if something removed it.
