<![CDATA[Opera ver 20 frequently gets 'not responding']]>I have downloaded the latest version ver 20.0 opera browser for my windows 7.
Yet it frequently gets stuck and shows 'not responding'for a few seconds and then recover back.
It is too frequent about every 5-8 seconds will get a 2-4 seconds stuck. This is too annoying.
Does anyone encounter the same thing? And any potential reason or solution?

I have checked all my plugins and disabled all of them. The browser itself becomes a little more stable than before. The frequency of short 'not responding' periods is lower but still exists(occurs about every 20 seconds). Is there any other possible reason that cause this, like some virus?

Type opera:plugins in the address field and press enter.
Disable the ones you don't really use and tell us if it gets better.
