<![CDATA[links open in new window and not tab (win 10)]]>It seems links in enail etc open in a new opera window, and not a new tab. Is this expected behaviour or is there some setting that can fix it?

I looked in Default Apps in Windows 10's Settings menu, and everything seems to be set correctly there too. If other people aren't getting this problem with this version of Opera, I think maybe it's something wrong in my Windows registry, so I'm going to try reinstalling Opera soon to see if that helps.

Edit: just reinstalled Opera and it's still having this problem.

Check your settings to see if there's an option to open links in the foreground.

I have the same issue.

Restarting Opera does not help; this has been happening for about a week and it got annoying pretty quickly, especially since the new windows open in the background behind Outlook (2016) when I click a link in my email. Please advise me on what to do to fix this.

Using Opera 35.0.2066.37 on Windows 10 Home 64-bit
