<![CDATA[Opera 12, password stored lost forever?]]>Hi
I am still Opera 12 user and quite expert in password management.
Have always used successfully password recovery tools like "Nirsoft OperaPassView" or Opera add-on buttons like "read wand".
Password are protected by a masterpassword that is asked "once per session".

TODAY when Opera asked first time masterpassword (as usual) me noticed the form was different: was asking like to update the masterpassword so there was "old password" field "new password" (and third field for confirmation of the new password).
Me to avoid mess with remember a new masterpassword have applied again my usual password if all the fields.

But now Opera not show nor complete any password but only the username 😞 (both username and password fields are highlighted in yellow as usual)
"Nirsoft OperaPassView" same story, shows only the username fields (is like start OperaPassView WITHOUT swith off the "masterpassword protection" from Opera settings.

Any hint to give me before say have lost all password stored?

if can help recently have not done any modification in my configuration EXCEPT an important Windows 10 update (I was already runnning on Windows 10, but the recent update I feel was very important and modified system files for sure)

Since with backup worked perfectly, but of course had not now an updated password file and since password are saved in wand.dat and since my masterpassword always the same over years and since I knew masterpassword is saved somewhere in opcacrt6.dat or opcert6.dat; have applied the most recent want.dat and OLD opcacrt6.dat opcert6.dat files, and worked! (I suppose to have now access to all wand.dat stored password)

I never used a master password, but link is the only thing I've seen display that password dialog without you doing anything on the current computer.
