There are many things in the old 12 version that I have come to love and would hate to lose them. One the download manager and two the ability to highlight text and open it a new tab or current tab, etc. How the tabs stack. The overall feel of the old one compared to this latest one. thanks for any help

I only use basic parts I guess to the download manager. Curious how Opera 33 does the highlighted text different?

I guess I can load it here and test it out at some point

Opera 33's manager is pretty basic.

highlight text and open it a new tab or current tab

Opera 33 does this but in a different way then Opera 12. You can also highlight text and send it to any search engine in Opera.

No major browser with the exception of Firefox has tab stacking. In fact, so few people use it in Firefox that its going away too. Opera dropped it a few years ago and its not coming back.
