<p dir="auto">The bigger question is overall platform.  Do you want to take complete ownership of security, or have Apple take it on? Android is extremely fragmented, and security updates are sporadic (at best) for older devices.  iOS gets consistently updated until your phone is too old - generally more than 4 years.</p>
