Is the latest version of Opera available in 32 and 64-bit versions?]]>Have just begun using new PC with 64-bit hw and Windows 7 64-bit o/s (so far behind the cutting edge I am in no danger I know) and after seeing the improved performance of other products in 64 versus previous experience with 32-bit flavors/versions e.g. MS Office 2016 64-bit and Google Chrome 64-bit I went to download the most current version of Opera, r.33 but I cannot tell if it is 32 or 64-bit -- since I had seen 64-bit Opera on a friend's PC, or thought I did, am confused?

What I could find is the 64-bit version of the last of oempera or Opera 12.17.1863 is that all there is?

I think that means your operating system is Windows 10 64-bit, not that Opera is running as a 64-bit program on it.

As said there is no 64 bits version of Opera Blink for Windows.

The last generation of Opera, Opera 12, did offer a 64-bit version. The current version of Opera would not benefit from a 64-bit version as much as the older version did. This is because the old Opera existed as a single process (and therefor might be limited to 4 GB of RAM, the most a single 32-bit process can handle without tricks) while the current version breaks each tab, extension, etc, out into its own process, each with its own 4 GB RAM limit. While there are other improvements a 64-bit version might see they aren't as significant to take away development time/effort from other things. I'm sure we'll see it someday but just rest assured you aren't missing much at the moment.

I've got v. Opera 32.0.1948.69, and it's 32-bit.
