<![CDATA[Opera 31 Stable slow startup]]>Opera 31 Stable is supposed to startup around 70% faster. I am not finding this happens. Okay, maybe it starts a little faster, BUT ONLY A LITTLE, and nowhere near the 70%. I'm using Windows7 and Opera has been my preferred default browser for years, and I've never had many problems. Hopefully, opera 32 may address the slow startup issue once and for all.

Us Opera users fully accept there may be some slowdown due to compression, but this slowdown should not be evident when simply starting the browser.

"Opera for computers now starts up to 70% faster in comparison to previous versions." The key words being 'up to'. It depends greatly on your system specs. Some will see more gains than others.

When first using Opera it was great could not believe how fast it was, now even if Opera has laded and been loaded for a time anything I select on the screen is slow to start. I am operating Windows 8.1
