I recently had to reformat this [32-bit] computer & when I went to Opera's download link this is the version that showed up: "Opera 12.16 for Linux x86-64". I'm using Zorin OS6 which is based on Ubuntu v12.04. The platform is i686. I did some searching for a version of Opera that was clearly marked 32-bit, v12.16 & for Ubuntu & I found one, installed it & it works OK but I still wonder if the suggested version from the download page is a 32-bit version that would work despite the "...x86-64" title.

If this is actually a 32-bit version then Opera should add more info with this option to let us know that it's actually 32-bit to remedy the confusion. And, if this is a 64-bit version, as it appears to be, then I think Opera's staff should fix this so that it detects the users' computers correctly, if possible, or else simply provide ALL the various OS versions, 32/64-bit, etc., in one place on the download page so we can select the correct version. Thanks!

Any other Linux-Opera users with 32-bit computers should beware that if this the only version that's displayed on the Download page: "Opera 12.16 for Linux x86-64", it's for 64-bit machines. I'm going to submit this as a bug report next. Regards!
