<![CDATA["Coast Bar" on shared links?]]>I don't mind you trying to spread the word by putting the Coast bar on shared links and rewriting the url with your own redirector, though I'd turn it off if I could. But the worst part is that others provide an "X" on the bar so that the recipient can turn off the bar and get the original page and URL back after it loads; you don't. Can you please add that to your link redirector system so that recipients can get to the original URL and page?

I went back to Coast for the first time since November, and wanted to see if you ever fixed this issue. Nope. And look how well it's working for Coast: none of my friends use it, because when they saw the frame on a shared link, they immediately assumed you were violating their privacy. Perhaps it's time to make a browser that helps the users as opposed to hiding things from them, frustrating them, and worst of all, hurting the brand name of Opera.

Sigh. You guys are so great (Opera VPN is fantastic) but sometimes you just can't get out of your own way.

And now, I find myself having to tell people NOT to use Opera Coast, because when you share links, you still put http://opcoa.st/[4-letter code] and a "Coast" header bar WITH NO WAY TO GET RID OF IT. The recipient can't even get the original link back. It's really frustrating, and it's ruining an otherwise great experience with your browser.

It's sad, really. The very thing you were hoping would work as a viral spreader is actually causing some of your biggest fans to drop the product. I don't think that's what you intended.

You still have a chance to save the day, but I worry that as each new user discovers how bad the "share link" experience is, the less chance you have to stay a viable browser option. As myeturn said, lots of options out there.

I sent myself a link using Coast and I was presented with an ad for Coast .. Does this happen every time I share a link with others ?

I love Opera Coast - but what would make you guys think any browser is so critical that customers would put up with constant bombardment of family and friends with ads for Coast when we share a link..?? Browser developers need to realize that keeping people from NOT using their browser is even more difficult than getting them to try it.. There are just too many alternatives .. And more everyday.

There is no way to eliminate that ?

Is there an upgrade that would eliminate this ? I think my family and friends would pay for it if there is ..
