"Inspect element" roprts in the console:<br />
Font from origin 'file://' has been blocked from loading by Cross-Origin Resource Sharing policy: Invalid response. Origin 'null' is therefore not allowed access.</p>
<p dir="auto">I do not expect font files to be blocked when working completely within a protocol 'file://' environment.<br />
I reported bug DNA-43075 "Locally installed fonts are blocked when used in local environment".</p>

The bug is confirmed. It was an unintended side effect from another change.<br />
The solution is already implemented in the Chromium code and will be shipped in a future chromium release.</p>

I was aware of the thread you pointed to. According to me that was however a different issue unrelated to the fact that for me it only occured in a local testenvironment.</p>
