When i double click a file on the 'downloads' window so that Tixati automatically starts up, i get:
'No run action specified for files of this type (application/x-bittorrent) - you can set a run action by choosing `Set Run Action' from the File menu, or you can just drag the file to an application.'

I am doing the same thing as i have always done, and i've never had this message before. I've used Tixati with Opera for many years and it's always been fine.
I went to look on 'files' like the message told me, however i cannot find 'set run action.'
Can someone help please?

You can set mime types or you can find a GUI in most distros. You can then set the file to download and open with your torrent client.

That said, you can update your Opera to the newest version as well. It's not in your repo, that's the old version. You can get the new version, install the .deb package, and then it will automatically update itself to the newest versions if you tell it to - it adds the ppa.

New version here:
http://ftp.opera.com/pub/opera/desktop/

Find the most recent build. Open it. Find the Linux folder. Open it. Grab/download the file.
