Hotmail: I can't receive mail

This morning I installed Opera Mail on my PC. I also configured Hotmail. I can send mail but not receive.
Configuration: Incoming pop-server: pop3.live.com Port:995 Authoration: Auto (plain text) Username and password. Any of the authorisation options render the same answer.
The error is that I have to go to outlook.com and allow pop messages. I did that and it worked for Outlook but not for the incoming server.

How can I solve this problem?

Have you tried with the following settings?

Server address: pop-mail.outlook.com

Port: 995

Encrypted Connection: SSL

I have tried that now but it makes no difference.

Even after have enabled pop you are getting the same error message? Or now it's a different one?

Have you tried typing your login and password again? Also, have you tried changing the authentication method?

Check also if ssl is enabled.
