<![CDATA[How to keep Opera beta 31.0.1889.98 from making hidden http connections during startup]]>Almost instantly after each startup, while the Opera window is still blank, my Opera beta 31.0.1889.98 makes a hidden http connection on port 80 to an IP adress I'm using sometimes. I'm suspecting that even the Opera Extensions are not initialized at this time.
How is it possible, that Opera beta makes hidden http connections at this early stage?
How can any Website induce this?
How can I keep Opera from making any of these unwanted connections?
Is this related to the Google Chrome engine? I never could find any connections of this type with Opera 12.17. I'm using NetworkMiner 1.6.1 all the time.

I'm opening Opera without any pages. No other programs. I think I know fairly well (there are people knowing it ever better...) what is running on my computer. I'm simply asking me why any malware should only deal with Opera beta(!) and call a pricelist?
I think it's unlikely that this issue has anything to do with Bitdefender. There are several reasons why Bitdefender does block. Consult the Bitdefender support.
One problem of Opera beta is, that it doesn't allow a really clean uninstall at least when Opera 12.17 is installed also. This fortunately at the moment, see at the end. It is highly probable the cause why the problems remain the same after manually uninstalling and reinstalling. The bookmarks will not be installed again during a 'clean' Opera beta install but the
speed dial entries and at least im my case only one single Extension: A deactivated Ghostery. In fact, the problems began as soon as I had uninstalled Opera beta and reinstalled it.
It is highly probable that this is unintentionally a fairly legal connection connecting at an illegal time. I would rather think that it is the Chromium Engine which shouldn't allow such early connections, even before the extensions are initialized.

Then one of the installed extensions atarts to make connections too.

I would check for malware again using Malwarebytes and similar products.

It is the IP 178.63.76.145, www.toppreise.ch, a prize search website to which Opera connects almost instantly after each startup. I even have uninstalled Opera beta - the remaining rest I have found manually - and then reinstalled it for a single user today again, without importing anything from Opera 12.17 (as far as this is possible!!). Opera 12.17 still does not make this connection, Opera beta still has the same problem. Kaspersky KIS is running on this Computer and furthermore I have tested the Computer for malware with a Linux CD (Heise Desinfect't). I don't know how to keep Opera beta from making this connection and I don't like the fact, that apparently any website is able to manipulate Opera beta this way.
