Field have mysteriously filled on black, i.e Url field

  • Seems to have happened why using my synched win 8.1 venue pro. Prevents seeing Url IP addresses etc? Any ideas? Thanks!

  • Also, speed-dial thumnails always grab a pic of random pics/ads on website rather than a snapshot of the site itself. If I cant undo that, can I just somehow disable the snapshot and just take the tile look w/ generic website name?

  • Wrong area - this isn't about the website. What version of Opera?

  • You can edit the thumbnail of the speed dial entry by navigating to the page and clicking the heart icon to the right of the address bar. This also works for bookmarks. You can choose from a generic icon, a screenshot or a selection of images from the website.

This doesn't change the the speeddial entry for that website. It does add it to my bookmarks and yes I can change the image.

But what you can do, is goto the website that's in your speeddial and add it again using the image you want. But then you'll have to delete the old website in your speeddial and rearrange it to the original way.

I just wish you could edit the speeddial images.

  • Works fine for me. Strange.
