so I can delete Opera and re-install.
WEll, according to Opera's FAQ, it works this way

To export data from Opera, follow these steps:
Go to Settings > Import and exportFile > Import and export.
Choose the file name, change the location if you want to find it easily, and click "Save".
Import the data file according to the instructions of your other browser.

The funny thing is, there is no such thing as IMPORT AND EXPORT, there is only Import in Settings.
Even if I search for "Export", it finds nothing.
So how exactly am I meant to do this, what's wrong with this browser?

You can also use extensions to export bookmarks if sync isn't your cup of tea. I use V7 Bookmarks.
