Then why is it not changing my IP address? The key icon is present in my android, hence it means VPN is connected, but yet my IP address is being displayed same as when I'm not conntected to VPN. Doesn't that mean I'm not connected to the VPN at all, and Opera Max is not working properly? Although, I'm seeing proper stats in the app. Can you please explain? Thanks!

So, does Max prevent my operator from seeing that? I should think so, because all traffic - even https I understand - go through Opera's servers. As such my ISP should only be able to see Opera's IP, right?

Assumed Opera Max VPN operates similarly, this might be a hint why e.g. ip-lookup.net shows Max VPN IP while geoiptool.com shows the real IP. That is, maybe (with several question marks) geoiptool.com respects/takes into account some "X-Forwarded-For" while ip-lookup.net does not.

edit: Or maybe not. geoiptool.com shows (real) IP. ip-lookup.net shows Max VPN IP.
