<![CDATA[Opera Mini 10 for Android]]>Hi all,

Today, we released Opera Mini 10 for Android. If you are signed in to Facebook in Opera Mini, you will get notifications whenever something interesting happens on Facebook, even if Opera Mini is not running. To configure this feature, tap the main menu and select “Settings”.

We have also improved the stability of Opera Mini by squashing about 40 crashers and other bugs. If you are looking for more features, you should install Opera Mini Beta and keep an eye out for updates. In the first beta of Opera Mini 11, we are going to give you some neat improvements to play with during the summer.

Please give Opera Mini a spin and leave a comment with any feedback you may have for us.

I just want to report that the latest stable version of Opera Mini lags when I am switching among tabs. I find this annoying considering that my device has a 2 GB of RAM and running MTK 6752. The unit is Alcatel Flash Plus, now I am currently using the version 9 of the app. When will you guys release the next version? It has been almost 2 months with no update. I tried to use the beta version of Opera Mini and still it lags. Why is that?

PS. I just can't live without Opera because of your offline reading capability.

I had no such issues with Opera 7.6.4 which I had been using until recently. I also tried it on Bluestacks, which it will launch more than once, but when I try to browse I only get empty pages. Installing 7.6.4 on Bluestacks results in Bluestacks complaining about Opera Mini requesting for an API which is not available on my system.
