<![CDATA[Importing Bookmarks to Opera]]>Hello.

I want to Import Bookmarks from Firefox to Opera. I created a HTML file in Firefox and then went to Opera settings and click on Import Bookmarks and opened the HTML file.

However, my imported bookmarks are displayed under 'Bookmarks (10th option on Menu), Imported Bookmarks folder' but not under 'Bookmarks' (4th option down, 'Imported Bookmarks.'

Why is that?

Will the release automatically place my saved bookmarks from 'Bookmarks' (10th option on Menu) to 'Bookmarks'(4th option), 'Imported Bookmarks or will they still have to be transferred manually to Bookmarks (4th option on Menu), Imported Bookmarks folder?'

There's no need to ask the same question almost every day. If nobody answered is because probably no one knows for sure.

I guess that most probably they will be back to where they were before.

You can install a bookmark manager extension in the sidebar. Check out this one for example.

It will be fixed in the next release, probably within the next week.

I must have installed a new version of Opera because the previous version displayed bookmarks under 'Bookmarks' (4th option down, 'Imported Bookmarks.')

It has nothing to do with importing, no one can see ones bookmarks there. We will have to wait for a fix.
