I can hear them, but the video zone looks entirely black. Here an example.

http://www.vandal.net/video/31630/ark-survival-evolved-debut#720

I reported the bug since another email address, and by other hand, I can't see the background videos of many sites like Skype.

I have these problems with Kubuntu 14.04, and I use Opera 30 with ffmpeg 2.7 get from the Doug McMahon's PPA.

I have an Ubuntu 15.04 installed on a VirtualBox machine and these problems weren't produce. Is there any conflict with libav? Luckily Ubuntu and Debian left it in newer versions.

Although compiling ffmpeg yourself isn't hard, it's not for regular users. Also, most users don't even know about this and wont get a working solution at all, which is very sad. At least I think info about this problem with ffmpeg should be pinned (an announcement) in this forum category.

But honestly, not all users we use the last Ubuntu version because we can't update the system in each version. Ubuntu is not only a freak system for me, is my system for production.

I recognize that the multimedia support in Ubuntu 14.04 is bad, but I hope a better multimedia support for the next LTS version from Opera.

Now that Debian and Ubuntu came back to ffmpeg as default library, I hope to not have more issues like this in the future.
