I was actually writing here about another bug that I've noticed today when I thought of reinstalling opera GX to clear it before opening an unnecessary topic. Worst idea I had today.

My fear was to lost all my tabs and spaces if I had to do it. So, to prevent this and not lose all my work, I thought to install the normal version of opera, sync my browsers and reinstall opera GX... the thing is, years ago, I was working with vanilla-opera (let's call it like that), and had tabs and spaces opened in them. And it was actually on this one that I had created my account, so after installing opera-normal, my account was still connected, but not the synchronization feature, as I had disabled it probably at the same time. Then, thinking the version of my account on opera GX was newer and that it will overwrite the old one on vanilla-opera, I activated the synchronization feature.

Hm... The opposite has happened. So, I do know that opera is keeping data backups of our profile. Therefore, can I hope to recover my previous workspaces? I deeply need them as I'm actually working on multiple projects at once and each workspace are dedicated to one project.

And if not, may I suggest implementing synchronization steps and account versions verification in the next update?
I love opera, but this kind of thing is kinda... infuriating.

I hope you can help me.

With all regards

all i need here is away to move tabs from a certain domain or matched a criteria from "search tabs" area shown in the attached image to the desired workspace.

i usually have 1k+ tabs opened all the time, and i need away to organize these tabs in mass not one tab at a time,

my proposal here is to search for a certain domain or word in the "search tabs" area, then select the desire tabs by pressing shift or control like any file manager then right click selected tabs then send to the desired workspace.

that way i "and any tabs savvy users" can manage and organize my tabs collection a bit easy ..

i hope i described that well, and wish to see this or something similar soon in opera browser.

thank you ..

All my lost tabs immediately appeared in the currently open window. That was far too many tabs for one window, so I had to move most of the tabs to other windows. But the issue is only dissolved, not solved or resolved.

I would like to be able to use the workspaces feature, but when I reenable workspaces I get the old workspace setup back, with tabs hidden in some of the workspaces. Evidently my workspace setup is corrupted. I would like to reset my workspaces (to where it was when I first enabled workspaces) but I don't know how.
