I was actually looking for a way to change it back right now. I despise it with every fiber of my being and if I can’t figure out how to change it back I’m deleting it and finding a new browser and telling people to never get opera on their IPhone or cellphones in general.

Instead of having to move the mouse to the left / right side, you could scroll up/down to move to the left / right.

While Ctrl + Tab is held down and hovering cursor on a tab:

The scroll button could open an action menu (Held down, hover on one action and release button to execute the action, to discard just move the cursor out of the selection area), if hovering over a tab to manage it (Close, Copy URL, Bookmarks or even add more actions from settings), I think 8 actions for the limit but that's just an opinion

Currently there's only one way; horizontal scroll of the tabs.
Many different browsers (Chrome, Firefox and others) offer grid view which makes it easy to navigate the tabs especially when you have a lot of tabs.

Opera is perfect except for this stupid feature where tabs can only be viewed in one specific way. Who the heck decided that was a good idea?!

I want to use Opera as my main browser but currently I don't because grid view is not available. Will this be added any time in the future?

An other similar suggest would be add a menu for each tab on a long touch on it. This menu should suggest "move left", "move right" and other things like "add favorite", "duplicate", "share"...

The tab cycler used to be very good with a vertical list of tabs and full-screen previews, but now it's just terrible - tiny thumbnail previews, horizontal that only displays a handful of tabs, the mouse constantly messing things up. Because of this, I have migrated from Opera to Vivaldi.

Icons on the bottom of the page are fare too little to see and big tab to switch are not very handy. If you have more than 7/8 tabs open it's impossible to switch between them easily.

It's bro good that we can choose control system.
I hope that we will get quick tab scrolling by swipe left or right on tool bar in bottom.
And I miss feature from mini version. Access to see monit to look at new opened tab when opening something in background
