  • No authenticator code
  • The recovery codes don't work (idk why, I tried 3 codes but not works!)

Now I'm still using my email and the linked Google account. What can I do for log in the Opera account? The login shows me only 2 options about authentication and recovery code...

Yes, I had to reinstall Windows (10 Pro, it is all updated back to current)
Yes, I have a Windows.old folder on my system, chock full of application data.
Yes, I used Opera (post v100) when the crash happened.
Is there a way I can tell Opera to look in those folders and bring the data into my current installation?

If this has been covered recently, like since v90, show me where the response is. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Note that Sessions folder contains two copies of files, you need to test with single pair (Session & Tabs). But most likely Opera has already ovewritten the needed one.

This has happened here too, few times already (I'm on Opera developer branch, this is often less table) - thereby my first action after any kind of crash is quick copy of Opera session files.

Opera should have some crash detection and should copy last backup into safe place after that - but because such problems are rare, they have not implemented such behavior. Few years ago they created no session backups at all, current situation is improvement from that time for sure.

While I am aware that exporting and SAVING bookmarks (MANUALLY) is (supposedly) possible using the Opera browser for desktop/laptop computers, my question is:

Is there a way to export (and save to an html file) bookmarks from any of Opera's mobile browsers?

Real back-up always needs redundancy.

If you are reading this Opera developers, please understand:
Opera IS a great browser, but so many things can go wrong.
A simple export-to-html would solve the data loss risk, in my humble opinion.
