Hopefully, It also works for other users again.
So, recently I was having some problems with Opera (this issue) and thought that restoring Opera from backup could solve my problems.
So I've deleted my profile folder and restored it from the backup (full directory intact, not some files/folders). But, completely unexpected for me, when I opened the browser, I discovered that all my extension settings were gone.
This is what happens on first launch after restore in one of the directories (%APPDATA%\Opera Software\Opera Stable\Local Extension Settings):

I tried to limit the restore to folders/files described in this article, but it only resulted in all of my extensions disappearing completely + some of my browser preferences to also get lost.

Just for the record: sidebar, cookies, history and bookmarks all has been restored successfully.

I really don't get it... Did some kind of checksum or signature get corrupted? If so, why I don't get any messages about anything going wrong with Opera just silently rewriting all of my files?

And, most importantly, are there any steps to restore my backup?

Opera version for backup: 72.0.3815.186 (presumably)
Opera vesrion current: 72.0.3815.207
Windows 10 Pro
