Add a PIN to confirm tab switching, settings changes, etc

Introduce 4-6 digits pin while logging in the browser, switching tab and changing in settings. Enabling and choosing pin should be user choice. It will protect user privacy. User can recover this pin through email if forgotten. If user is unable to verify identity through email then all data will be reset automatically in the browser. Also pin will automatically apply after user inactivity time chosen by user or during device sleeping mode.

@ej16 It's the path you'd goto in Windows Explorer/File Explorer (you'd replace yourusername with your username). It's the folder where your pinned icon shortcuts are stored.

Tab groups are far more useful and Chrome did it perfectly. (...)
User friendly feature. It's literally like workspaces but with better visuals, name indicators and easier access. (...) This is the feature I want to see in Opera. Because this is what I want, need and would use so much.

And the lack of tab groups is literally the one thing holding me back from making the permanent change.

I hope people at Opera will change their minds, because Google people are making Chrome useful at least.

I don't know much about software development, but surely being that Opera is based on Chromium, it wouldn't be that hard to implement tab groups from the codebase, right?

Why the Pin is global for ALL Sidebar windows?

Why the Pin option in pop-right Sidebar windows is global for all Sidebar windows?!

I was testing latest Changelog entries for newest Opera Stable and I pinned Player (Opera Dev). I forgot to unpin that window, then I opened one website from the Custom site panels and it happened to be pinned, as well!

The Pin option needs to work independently.

Ok, one last update, I had already rebooted my laptop before opening this report here and the issue persisted, now I don´t know exactly what happened but after a new reboot (needed to reboot after upgrading VMWare Player) the issue is gone, that dead column is working without issues. Hope this helps anyone having the same issue.
