When starting a new topic, old pinned tabs become distracting, and it’s difficult to quickly find the sites I need.
I suggest adding the ability to create and organize tab folders that remain on the tab bar alongside other open tabs.

Proposed functionality:

Create a folder via right-click on the tab bar → “Create Tab Folder”. The folder appears at the leftmost side of the tab bar.

Dragging a tab into the folder works like moving a regular tab.

Clicking on a folder reveals all saved links with readable names (e.g., “Wikipedia — World War II”), not raw URLs.

Users can edit folder names and reorder links inside the folder.

Folders are displayed compactly on the tab bar; the name appears on hover.

Enhancement ideas:

Assign colors to folders for easy visual identification.

Use first letters as visual cues (e.g., “A” for a folder called “Animals”).

Add a search function inside folders for faster access to links.

Goal: organize a large number of tabs by topic, save space on the tab bar, and enable users to quickly access relevant information.

Currently, bookmarks and folders are aligned to the left, but I use a lot of folders and I’d prefer to keep them centered for better visibility and balance. Having a setting or toggle (left / center / right alignment) would make the Bookmarks Bar much more flexible and user-friendly.

On a personal note, I sometimes struggle with organization, and having the bookmarks neatly centered would help me keep things more visually balanced. Besides being more practical, I think it would also look beautiful.

I’m using the regular Opera Developer version (early build) (Regular Opera)

That's because I miss a feature Firefox has and Opera doesn't.

The feature is separators in bookmarks menus (folders).

The reason it might be implemented is better organisation and quick orientation in such bookmarks menus.

This missed feature make me to stay with Firefox.

This makes Opera a non-starter for me. Too bad, as I like it otherwise, so far.

all i need here is away to move tabs from a certain domain or matched a criteria from "search tabs" area shown in the attached image to the desired workspace.

i usually have 1k+ tabs opened all the time, and i need away to organize these tabs in mass not one tab at a time,

my proposal here is to search for a certain domain or word in the "search tabs" area, then select the desire tabs by pressing shift or control like any file manager then right click selected tabs then send to the desired workspace.

that way i "and any tabs savvy users" can manage and organize my tabs collection a bit easy ..

i hope i described that well, and wish to see this or something similar soon in opera browser.

thank you ..

I think it would be nice to have tab grouping like on chrome that when ever there's tabs you have idle you can group them and have then in a rest mode where they don't use any Wi-Fi or ram or vary little ram because like me I have multi tabs open all the time for YouTube Crunchyroll and when I'm researching etc. I use opera GX because I'm a gamer and I play a lot of games but because of how I have my tabs its hard to multitask this is my suggestion but I feel like a lot of people can have a advantage of this for like home, work and gaming experience and I ain't just speaking for myself cuz i have multiple friends who use GX because its good performance wize but its hard with the inability to have organization also it would be nice to add a live wallpaper editor for people who like making there own wallpaper like for wallpaper engine so a wallpaper engine integration that's all thanks for taking time and reading
