I'm working on a site and it's doing that annoying thing where it looks totally fine on Mac (Safari + Chrome), but in Opera it randomly shifts a few layout sections. And the weird part is, when I tweak it to fix Opera, it ends up slightly off again on Mac.

On the page https://cost4estimating.com/ I can reproduce it clearly in the mid sections where the columns don't stay aligned consistently.

Feels like I’m stuck in this loop of fixing one browser and breaking the other 😭

Has anyone run into Opera behaving differently with flex/grid stuff across macOS vs other setups?

However, I’ve noticed that its effectiveness drops when I have sidebar apps open (for example, Messenger or ChatGPT). In these cases, pressing F12 doesn’t trigger the panic action at all.

It would be great if the panic button could work regardless of whether a sidebar app is focused. Ideally, F12 should always override sidebar focus and trigger the panic mode instantly.

Most other sites keep me in, it's just one other I'm having problems with which isn't that big of a deal.

Didn't get a chance to check other browsers, but regardless, I opened it just now to see and the problem appears to have fixed itself...? It keeps me logged in now. Unsure why, I haven't done anything different. Maybe it needed time to register.

But when using the "flow feature" you're having at least a half baked synchronization.

You can log into your account by going to: auth.opera.com. But you don't get synchronization work by that either. But if you want to use Aria in your iOS browser it's required to log in.

Strangely, I've noticed that it works seamlessly in another browser.

Here's the curious part – I've found a workaround! If I move the website up and down, the submit button magically comes to life, and I can place my ad. 🚗💨

Is anyone familiar with this issue, or is it just me? Any insights or suggestions on how to fix this peculiar browser behavior would be greatly appreciated!

I have also uploaded a video of this for your ready reference. Before update 74 it was normal but now it takes very long time to load I have tried to load two times in the video you can check yourself.

Yes because I work in an office so I cannot wait too much as you know that office matters need to be solved quickly.

But, Opera doesn't have a video/x-matroska mime-type/file-type handler to embed the file with the HTML VIDEO element when you navigate directly to the file. Therefore, the file is downloaded instead. Same in other browsers.

Note this issue just started in last 2 days....

Think we need a link to an mkv file that worked a few days ago for you but doesn't now.

So, you probably know what is needed to run those old versions.

You know, software companies don't exactly like people that use old versions, so why they make things easier for those people?

If someone wants to use an old version of any software, s/he should do it by itself and on her/his own risk, without expecting any support from the software makers.

However, some people have folders in their bookmark bar and give them a blank name so that only the icon is visible (allowing for more room in the bar). This may be annoying for people who put multiple folders in their bookmark bar and cannot tell them apart. Plus, I would just like to have little icons for my folders instead of them all looking the same.

By "customizable", I just mean that you can make the icon of the folder the same icon as any of the ones in the folder itself. However, I think it would be fun if you could get a small set of pre-made icons specifically for use in decorating folders or even using custom images (although I'm not sure if that would work too well). the point is we ought to have options to make each of our bookmark folders visually distinct from one another.
