Don't know if I am missing something obvious, but the whatsapp panel in the sidebar keeps on playing the annoying notification sound even though I have it off. Obviously it turns off if I just mute the whole thing, but then I can't play any media with sound from it. I was wondering if anyone has the same problem

I used to be, too, but then I WhatsApp Aero download and I can turn it off without having to replay it like before.

On only one of those installations, my Extensions sidebar icon has a red notification badge. I have tried and tried but cannot find any notification to address (like the android Amazon icon)! I have the same extensions on all the computers: raindrop.io, 1password extension (with install google extensions), Opera Ad Blocker (why is that there? isn't it built in?).

ASIDE: When the Chromium MS Edge came out I jumped on that for a while, but after some issues decided to try Opera...this thing is perfect. I'll be telling all my friends to dump Chrome!

Thank you,
The problem persists in win7/8/10/11, 32bit/64bit, versions from 3* to the latest, from classic to GX, beta, etc... Any OS, any options, any notifications type. It lands deeply in browser architecture. The most browsers' notifications just work correctly. But Opera's don't, even after many hours of fix-trying.
