Yes, but on your .gif you're closing tabs by clicking on the tab itself in the tabs toolbar. Of course, in this case the TabMenu will be closed because there was a click outside the popup.

Maybe, I don't know. But it's convenient and looks logical.

*The SearchInTabs popup was created to manage a lot of opened tabs. Let's assume that I want to close some tabs (for example Opera related), I search for 'Opera' and then I'm closing the tabs one by one. If the found tabs include an active tab, the popup will be closed too and I will have to open the popup and search again?
And why this happens only with active tabs.. I close background tabs and the popup stays opened.

*Edit: I also think that active tab should be marked in the SearchTabs (highlighted or using bold text)

Since it took me multiple searches and time to arrive at the workaround for this particular bug, thought I'd make a separate post for you, user from the future.

Summary of the bug: When you try to create a 6th workspace on Opera's desktop browser, it renames one of the 5 existing workspaces instead of creating a new one.

Workaround: Right-click Player (the Special Feature that lets you listen to YouTube Music / Spotify / etc., in the sidebar itself), then select Hide Player. Now try creating the 6th workspace. Should work.

I am on Opera version 97.0.4719.63, and can confirm that:

I was unable to create a 6th workspace until I hid Player. After creating the workspace, I re-enabled Player, and the 6th workspace persisted.

This is the proper way to make a bug report. This bug and workaround are still accurate & reproduceable in October 2024.
