cursor:url("../pics/merge.gif");

The URL is correct since it works for regular background-image properties.
Works in other browsers, but not in Opera.

Any ideas?

I notice recently that after a few minutes of using Opera, the active spot of the cursor little-by-little shifts upwards, i.e. I have to place the cursor a bit below the spot that I want to click. As time passes, the misalignment increases. Kindly investigate.
