After installing all system updates, I installed the Flatpak version of Opera from KDE Discover (version 133.0.5932.60).

Opera launches normally and the first-run setup works fine until I click "Yes, set as default browser". As soon as I click that button, Opera immediately crashes every time.

Is there a way to fix this issue?

If you think it's a session issue, you can close Opera and delete the "Sessions" folder in the profile folder to start with a fresh session. You'll lose all your tabs though, but that might fix it.

If you want to save your tabs, right-click on a tab, goto "save" and choose "all tabs to a speed dial folder". Then, with the new session, right-click that folder and choose "open all in tabs". You'd have to do that for each workspace too if you're using more than the default one.

The problem of printing pages in Opera came out of nowhere, one day it was working and next day it stopped and have not been working for a couple of weeks now.
I guess the too frequent updates of Opera are part of the cause of the problem with glitched printing. I can do downloads normally, including pictures from websites but cannot download the entire page
