Google Meet would always say the camera failed because another application is using it. If I open the Google Meet on Chrome, it works. Even when I tested with https://webcamtests.com/, GX fails and Chrome works. So what could GX be missing?

Also, disable your extensions one by one at the URL opera://extensions to see if one is the culprit.

Also, for each sidebar app you use, click the lock icon at the top middle of the panel and goto site settings and review the camera and microphone settings there too.

You can see if it happens in a test standalone installation of Opera too or not. That'll tell you if it's just your Opera's settings or something that's messed up.

Some websites just say it broke but Zoom specifically says some app occupied it already. But the thing is my computer camera isn't used anywhere else. Other apps work just fine. I checked all kinds of permission in both Opera and Settings. It still didn't work!

Of course I checked the settings and the camera option is not disabled. I don't know if it's a codec issue since I had no problems with videos on any site (youtube, twitch, twitter, even sites with flashplayer).
Before I had managed to make it work with the same OS but I don't remember how.
