kaysb: Opera removed of most of the developers positions in the Oslo office last year, and with that, killed development of things like Coast.

gsnedders: AFAIK, most of the people heavily involved in Coast left long before that, and there was some small skeleton team left. But I could be wrong, it's been a long time since I've spoken to anyone who was much around it.

demonstro: Currently working with one of the designers. They're all out. An Android build was just around the corner, but now it will never happen.

kaysb That could be. My memory of that period is already a bit foggy 🙂
I quit my job at Opera 5 days before the rest of my team (Core Services and Operation, or what ever the name was at the end) was told they would shut down the development in Oslo.
I did have a veeery small part of Coast; I designed, implemented and maintained the server side of Coast Card, the bookmark sharing built into Coast.
I hope the rest of the company is still doing great, but I must say that it is a bit of an eye opener to see the company from outside. Or, to be more precise, not see the company at all, even as a interested hard core user. After they removed the first-run page informing about the latest changes etc. there is very little that engages users in the product.

There is no change, to use the browser.
Sometimes Opera Coast runs, when at start the airplane-mode is activ.

However, I'm not a huge browser and I only frequent a couple sites. Since Coast keeps the tabs open, when i go to revisit a site, it will just bring up the cached version of the site with no new content! Then i have to refresh the page to see new stuff. Is there anyway where it can load up the latest version of the page whenever i click the tile?

Opera Coast crashes any given time I try to start the application! I am asking for solution which will fix this issue. Does Opera team provides support for Coast yet?

I'm running the latest iOS on my iPhone 5.
The Cache is now exactly 895.8 MB!! On a 16 GB iPhone 5 space quickly becomes a precious commodity, especially when you're into photography and video shooting.

Is there any way to clear the cache without reinstalling the browser (and loosing all the saved passwords and bookmarks)?

The first two return actions occurs instantly but subsequent return actions takes 3-10 seconds, while the link is highlighted in gray, the browser will not respond to any actions, scrolling does not work as well. Cleaning cache does not help. In other browsers this problem does not occur.

We're terribly sorry you experienced this. Can you give us some more details about your iOS 10 upgrade, like:
Did you update over the air? Did you have little free space on your phone when you upgraded?

If you sync via iCloud, it's possible that icloud still has your speed dials. You can try to delete the app and reinstall it. Other than that I don't have any good advice, since app data is unavailable to normal users, there are no easy solutions...
