  you can already try Yandex browser which has a lot of the features Opera has.
  it also solves this problem easily.
  if this isn't resolved soon I will surely switch to that browser.

  @neetesha Clicks on recent searchs and search suggestions seems to have been fixed in Opera 60. Thanks.

  Maybe future versions will include keyboard shortcuts.

  @smtpget Sites can detect that you are using a VPN and block the access.

  Also, you can't set an specific country, to avoid geoblocking.

  When you select by long-pressing, the selection includes light blue "handles" under each end that can be dragged to enlarge the selection. Also at least in a text area the menu does include "Select All". Other than that... if you have a keyboard that includes a Ctrl key you might try Ctrl-A, but on-screen keyboards probably don't have one.
