No Opera VPN issues on Win10 or Win7 with me in UK. You didn't mention your country. Opera VPN isn't available in some countries as I understand.
@bamh1d Well, I can now report that the problem somehow seems to be resolved. That is to say, I can once again open links in Opera without having to close/re-open it. I don't understand any of this - how having an active Google tab seemingly blocked opening of other links, and how the problem apparently was fixed without any intervention from me. Anyone care to comment?
@kassandra1 Because this is not how things work. Site isolation is a big change in how browser deal with pages and it had been causing issues that needed to be fix so the feature could be enabled by default.
After I reporting the bug to the Opera Team yesterday, they release the new version 56.0.3023.0
the "Local State" is still //country_from_server":"HK"//
but
the Google engine finally return!!!! yeah~~~
