Since last week my Opera Mail doesn't receive mail anymore. Sending mail is no problem.
No settings were changed. I run Windows 7 and the latest version of Opera Mail (version 1 build 1044).
Tried a new account. Strange thing happened that it got all my mail from the provider's server, but stopped at the same date and time as my original mail account. Thunderbird and Outlook have the same settings and no problems in receiving mail. I've got a POP account. Any idea what could cause this? Please advise. Eaglefly01
I can add to this that it says at the bottom 'getting messages" then followed by 'synchronizing' and then 'fetching messages"....and that's it. no messages get in.
Check the log to see what message Opera is hanging up on. Then, move it out of the Inbox on the server to see if Opera will then fetch the rest of the messages in the Inbox. If that works, we can analyze the source of that problem message to see if we can find out what Opera has a problem with (the log might help with that too). Then, if needed, you could edit the message, upload it to the Inbox with IMAP and then delete the original.
